ABOUT THE EVENING
The world of wine is an intricate tapestry woven with tradition, innovation has a profound influence on local and global geography and culture. In exploring the differences between Old World and New World wines, we are really journeying through time and terroir. These terms encapsulate a philosophy, a history, and a cultural legacy... and we could go on!
Ed Brewer from Liberty Wines, is going to explain why he finds the elegance and tradition of Old World wines fascinating. Each sip a journey through centuries of winemaking mastery, where the terroir offers stories of the land. However, with the innovation in winemaking in The New World Ed will explain why he finds these new wines so exciting as they allow us explore new directions we never thought possible.
Throughout the evening Ed will unravel some of the nuances and stories that define Old World and New World wines, celebrating the richness each brings to our glasses.
