The fundraising concert on Thursday evening is sponsored by Around Kent Folk magazine. This year’s guests are Sue Bousfield and Liz Walmisley who together are Scolds Bridle. Liz and Sue have been entertaining audiences throughout the UK and abroad since they were barely out of their teens. They are joined by Brian Peters, singer, multi-instrumentalist and performer of songs and music based in the English Folk tradition. Doors open at 7.00 p.m. for a 7.30 start. Full Weekend Tickets do not cover this fundraising event. All tickets are £12.00 each. Tickets will be available by post or, online and, if still available, on the door

Tenterden Folk Festival is a four day long festival of folk song, music, dance, crafts and traditions. Tenterden, situated in the ancient Weald of Kent, about 12 miles west of Ashford, is an ideal setting for this friendly, family festival of folk. Tenterden features one of the widest High Streets in the country lined with historic and listed buildings, numerous friendly pubs and restaurants and green verges. The festival includes many free events.
