Ross Newham: Moths: From much maligned pests to saviours of the planet?
Many of you will remember Ross’s talk at our Study Morning and we are delighted to welcome him back in person for this month’s meeting when he will be enlightening and informing us about moths, dispelling the myths and singing the praise of the fantastic things these little heroes can do for us all. Ross is a lifelong horticulturist and the Operations Director at the NIAB EMR, East Malling Horticultural Research Centre.

Our monthly meeting in May will start with the AGM, when we review the past year’s events and accounts, say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to an outgoing committee member who is not standing for another term, and appoint the committee for the year to come. So please have a look at the official papers that will arrive in a separate mailing, and fill in a nomination form if you wish to stand for the committee. And - of course - do attend the meeting on May 19, either in person at St Mildred’s Church Hall, or on Zoom. The official business won’t take long and there will be a fascinating monthly talk as usual.
