A return of our popular speaker and London Blue Badge Guide.
Thursday, 12th September: Mary Smith, ‘A Schoolgirl’s War’
The former Headteacher of Maidstone Grammar School will tell us about a recently revealed series of exquisite drawings and paintings. They were made during WW2 by an art teacher. The story is enhanced by former pupils.

“Smuggling in Kent”. Mark Lewis will tell us the amazing story of smuggling in the
18th and 19th century which took place on our doorstep.
