Tenterden High Street will be brimming with festive cheer as the annual Christmas Market returns from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th November 2024 - come and see the Christmas Lights, 100 festive stalls in the High Street, the Christmas Tree Festival in the Zion Baptist Church (Fri/Sat), Christmas Cards at the Tenterden Museum, the Big Wrap Christmas Craft Fair in the Woolpack Barn with 20 stalls, a pop up Art Exhibition at East Cross, and there's even craft stalls at the Old Dairy on the Saturday, plus lots of artisan crafters at Sids Emporium, Ethel Loves Me, and Made by Bayliss & Co. Come and see the Christmas tree light switch on at the White Lion on Friday 22nd November, music, face glitter and snow from 5:30pm (switch on at 6:30pm) then live music from 9pm. Plus the team at the new Rockits Sensory and Soft Play Area are excited to announce their soft opening at Tenterden Christmas market, come along for a festive treat and a look around! Santa’s elves will be there to help your little ones write and decorate a letter to Santa too!

Join us in the heart of Tenterden for a great day out. A fantastic Christmas shopping experience; visitors will find a variety of street food, mulled wine and festive treats while shopping for unique, handmade gifts, as well as being able to shop in the many independent shops, and relax in the cafes, bars and restaurants in the High Street. Live festive entertainment will take place on three stages positioned throughout the town centre all weekend including music from local groups and the stars of Tenterden Panto on the Friday evening.

This year Santa will be at Tenterden Christmas Market on the 23rd and 24th November, as well as a festive photo booth and children's entertainment including live story-telling, face painting and small fairground rides! Visits for children to see Santa must be booked in advance >>> here.

• KESR/STATION ROAD - BEST VALUE PARKING - Tenterden Town Station car park £8 all day (opens one hour before the Market starts and one hour after the Market closes) cash or card,180 spaces at the Kent & East Sussex Railway.  From the A28/High Street by the Vine Inn drive down Station Road and go over the level crossing, the car park is immediately in front of you. 300 yards from the High Street. 
• Tesco car park is free for 2 hours for customers. ANPR (registration number checking) to make sure you don't park for longer (large fines if you overstay)
• The streets surrounding the town - FREE - please follow normal parking rules
