Smarden Village Hall, TN27 8NF

25 different stalls selling a wide range of Christmas cards, decorations and gifts, afternoon teas and ice creams
This Fair has been held every year since 1985 except in 2020 - cancelled due to COVID!
Smarden is a beautiful Kentish village - all of the main street is a conservation area with houses of historical and architectural interest - a visit to the Village and the Christmas Fair is a worthwhile outing.
The Fair has 25 stalls from charities and craftspeople, with an extensive range of Christmas cards, decorations and gifts. We will have stalls by Breast Cancer Kent, Canine Partners, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Hi Kent, MS Therapy Centre, RABI, Rolvenden Cat Rescue, and Smarden Local History Society.
In addition to Christmas cards and decorations, there will be all kinds of sewing and crochet, children’s clothes and books, puppets; eco food wraps, tea towels, tote bags, jewellery, paintings, scented candles, soaps, bird boxes, polished wood gifts, home-made ice creams, and much more.
Please bring cash as not all stallholders can take card payments.
Outside the hall, young handlers and volunteers from the local Wide Eyes Falconry club will have birds of prey on display - get up close to these beautiful creatures and ask the young people questions about them.
Being raffled is a fabulous hamper worth over £50 with all kinds of delectables provided by Smarden Community Store.
Catering for afternoon tea is provided by Smarden Women's institute.
All profits from running the Fair are distributed among the charities that are in attendance; Last year we distributed £750 to 11 charities – in addition to their own stall sales.
Come along and have a wonderful afternoon - Smarden Village Hall - TN27 8NF – free admission
