A by-election has been called for Rolvenden & Tenterden West ward for a candidate to sit on Ashford Borough Council. Rolvenden & Tenterden West Ward covers Tenterden West, Rolvenden Streyte, Rolvenden Layne and Newenden. Tenterden West roads include: Chennell Park Road, Cranbrook Road, Hurst Close, Lawn Close, Mill Pond Lane, Parkside Court, Plummer Lane, Rolvenden Road, Smallhythe Road, Westwell Court
