1940s Weekend at the Kent & East Sussex Railway
Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2020
Tenterden Town Station
Enjoy period music, dancers, vehicles, displays and entertainment throughout the weekend! Visitors will receive their very own period Identity Cards and can enjoy unlimited train travel throughout the day - trains run every 45 minutes between Tenterden and Bodiam
There is a packed programme of events and parking is free at Tenterden and Northiam Stations. The Tenterden Refreshment Rooms will be open throughout the day whilst there are some great bargains to be found in our Gift Shops!
Bodiam Castle is just a short walk from Bodiam Station and if you present your valid train ticket, you'll receive discounted entry to the national Trust Castle. There's also free entry to the Col. Stephens Railway Museum, which tells the fascinating story of Col. H.F. Stephens, the founder of the Kent & East Sussex Railway and many other light railways across the country.
Admission prices include unlimited travel throughout the day: Adult £19, Child (3-15 years inc) £13, Family (2 adults 2 children or 1 adult and up to 3 children) £45.
