There will be a 20mph speed limit along Tenterden High Street. There will be an official one-way system in place for Bridewell Lane / Highbury Lane. Some of the laybys in the High Street will be closed off (The lay-by on A28 High Street outside numbers 106-108, outside numbers 88a-94, and East Cross outside numbers 1-7, will be closed in its entirety).

KCC say "It is unlikely that the work will take the full amount of time publicised, but because the curing time of the High Friction Surfacing is completely dependent on the ambient temperatures and humidity on the night of laying, this timeframe is shown. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this type of work, there will be NO VEHICULAR ACCESS/ EGRESS from West Cross Gardens/ Caxton Close, except for EMERGENCY vehicles only."
