Forty Years a Potter - Dorothy Watson and The Bridge Pottery 1921-1961
This exhibition charts the life of Dorothy Watson, a pioneering spirit, who ran her pottery business in Rolvenden from 1936-1962. William Barham's meticulous research and passion for Dorothy's craft are evident in the way in which he has curated this exhibition. Beautiful examples of Dorothy's work are on display and insights are given into her evolving skills, as well as her incredible resilience in the face of national and personal tragedies.
