Kent & East Sussex Railway
Tenterden Town Station
1825 - 2025 In celebration of 200 Years of British Train Travel
The Kent and East Sussex Railway is one of the country's finest examples of a preserved rural light railway. The railway’s beautifully restored steam locomotive and carriages will take everyone on a journey through the beautiful Wealden countryside to Bodiam.
The Kent & East Sussex Railway is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and follows the wide unspoilt Rother Valley for much of the journey. The journey time between Tenterden and Bodiam takes around 50 minutes each way. To get the best value book in advance online (tickets are discounted online and normally available until midnight on the day before your visit).
