This election is to vote for ONE Kent County Councillor to represent Tenterden, St Michaels, High Halden, Biddenden, Rolvenden, Newenden, Wittersham, Appledore. The current KCC councillor Mike Hill (Conservative) is retiring. Overall there are 81 KCC councillors who represent 72 electoral divisions. Neil Bell (The Conservative Party)
Meet Neil Bell – our Conservative candidate for the Tenterden division in the Kent County Council elections on 1st May. Neil is a dedicated local councillor with a strong track record of standing up for our rural communities. He’s passionate about making a real difference for residents across: Appledore, Biddenden, Ebony, High Halden, Kenardington, Newenden, Rolvenden, Rolvenden Layne, St Michaels, Stone, Tenterden, and Wittersham. Neil’s priorities include fixing potholes, protecting essential rural services, keeping council tax low, and championing the needs of Tenterden and our local villages.

Guy Pullen (The Green Party)
Guy has served as Chair of the Board of Governors at the local school and remains an active member of the community. As a dedicated gardener, he is passionate about environmental issues. He has also represented us as a candidate in Biddenden during the local elections in 2015, 2019, and 2023.

David Ward (Labour Party)
David Ward is Labour’s candidate for the Tenterden division in the Kent County Council election on 1st May. He has lived here for 28 years and is a member of Tenterden Town Council. David has a strong commitment to public service. He worked in Parliament as a senior adviser to the late Labour leader John Smith, is President of a major road safety charity and expert in global automotive standards. He sits on the Planning Committee of the Council and has campaigned hard for action by KCC to repair potholes in our town.
