St Mildred's Flower Festival is the highlight of the Bank Holiday weekend. Pop into the church over the weekend to see the most amazing flower displays: Monet's Bridge over a pond of water lilies, a cross section through the earth from Core to Crust, a waterfall from Iceland, "all that the earth provides", the rising and setting sun, up in the clouds, Eve in the Garden of Eden, and many more incredible displays.
For an aerial view of Tenterden, climb all 132 steps to the top of the church tower, which will be open on all three days. There'll be live music on Saturday and Monday afternoons, with refreshments available daily. Don't forget to grab a raffle ticket; you might win one of the outstanding prizes!
