COVID UPDATE, March 2021. Communal worship has recommenced. We will also continue to offer live and pre-recorded worship. Please wear a mask, use hand sanitiser, sit at a safe distance from other people, and avoid standing together with others as you come in and go out. Prayer During the Day has restarted at St Mildred’s. The Wednesday and Thursday communion services at St Michael’s and St Mildred’s have a regular new time of 10am.
If you would like to come to either the 9.30am Eucharist, or the 11am Eucharist at St Mildred’s on Easter Day, then please get in touch with Karen Edgar, the Church Administrator, to book a seat by email or phone (do not text) between 10am and 2pm (leaving a message if necessary). Karen will need the following information:
1. Your name.
2. The time of the service (9.30am or 11am).
3. The number of seats you require.
4. Your contact details.

Church Services at St Mildreds Church
8am Every Sunday
A traditional service, with a quiet and reflective feel. There is a brief sermon, but no music or hymns. We share bread and wine. The service lasts for about half an hour, and it is repeated every Thursday at 11am. We stay for coffee on the third Sunday.
9.30am Every Sunday (except the 1st Sunday)
This service is less traditional, but still formal, and lasts for about an hour. There are hymns, music and a sermon, and we share bread and wine. We end with coffee and tea. Those who wish to can receive prayers for healing in a quiet space after the service.
6pm 1st Sunday (4pm in the winter months)
9.30am 1st Sunday of the month
This is the service when young and old, and those in between, come together for an informal act of worship. There are songs and music. We begin with coffee, tea and bacon rolls. The worship follows at 9.50am and ends at 10.30am, when more coffee and tea (and any leftover bacon) are served.
PRAISE & PIZZA
11.15am 3rd Sunday of the month
This is a service of the word with lively participation and debate. And we end with Pizza! For the young and the young at heart.
6pm 3rd Sunday of the month (4pm in the Winter Months - November - March)
This is a traditional service of hymns, music, readings, and a short sermon. The service lasts for just under an hour.
6pm 1st Sunday of the month (4pm in the Winter months)
This service is similar to the 9.30am Eucharist, but slightly shorter. There are hymns, music, and shorter sermon, and we share bread and wine.
