Public entry on the day is £5, concessions £3 and children are free. To exhibit a vehicle is £8 per car in advance (including occupants) or £10 on the day. All proceeds go to charity and all work is done by local volunteers.

There are 16 different categories for vehicles which will be judged and a trophy awarded in each category.

There will be an additional award this year to Mr Carey Marsh who was recently awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to sailing and the Community in Tenterden. He is approaching 90 years of age and continues to exhibit his vintage Alvis car at the rally.

There will be TROPHIES AND PRIZES FOR ALL CATEGORIES OF VEHICLES ON DISPLAY, as well as arena events, country crafts stalls, auto- jumble, boot fair stalls, food outlets and side show attractions. There will again be the raffle for the “Barrow-of-Booze” The auto-jumble and the car club exhibits will again be in a dedicated paddock to provide more space.

We have over 4,000 visitors and 450 exhibits of all shapes and sizes. It's a really good fun day out and last year, notwithstanding the fact that we were up against the Football World Cup Final and Wimbledon Men's Final, we had a massively successful day. All proceeds to to charity and help maintain local recreation facilities for local people.

And ... Appledore is one of the areas prettiest villages and is close to Camber and Rye.
