The Dementia Experience is a local Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to creating joyful events and supportive spaces for families living with dementia. From monthly coffee mornings at the Old Post Office Coffee Shop in Woodchurch, to uplifting classical concerts in local care homes, to our Monday “Fun Tea Club,” we are here to bring connection, comfort, and those vital nuggets of joy. We also run inspiring training sessions for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of dementia, helping to reduce isolation and build a supportive community.
We believe that by sharing experiences and coming together, families can find strength and hope in even the most challenging times. Our events, coffee mornings, and resources are free to all who need them, thanks to the support of our members, fundraising activities, and local partners.
