28 High Street, Tenterden
28 High Street, Tenterden (on the left) - the above photo is pre-1911. The Corner Shop was taken over by the Fuggles in 1911. Their daughter, Pamela (who was born in the shop) carried on there with her husband Peter Hopley until it was taken over by their son, Ian and his wife, Pamela. They later sold it to concentrate on their other business, Travelux. (Note the Tenterden Town Hall balcony was built in 1911)
