For all you "Strictly" fans out there that have withdrawal symptoms now it has finished, I have just the thing for you.... or for anyone who just likes to keep fit, dance, two left footers included, or those that just want a social trip out to have some fun, COMMENCING MONDAY 4TH MARCH I am starting classes for Strictly Fitsteps which is the hot new dance exercise class for all ages 20-80.
The exercises are based on all the strictly dances so you get to learn proper steps at the same time as getting exercise. No partner required but men are welcome too! This was devised by Ian Wait and Natalie Lowe together with Mark Foster (who thought he was fit until he did Strictly!).
It uses the whole body either high or low impact and high or low intensity depending on the class participant hence classes can be run for over 60s and for super fit 20 somethings - if you are wanting lose weight you can burn up to 600 calories in a class, equivalent to an hour or circuit training, without even realising you are burning that much. I will be splitting classes into different categories once I know who is coming and adapting music according to age of participants as well so you all have a great fun experience - the motto is that you will be having so much fun you will not realise you are exercising!

- Assembly Room, Town Hall, Thursday mornings 11am
- The Pavillion, Recreation Ground Road, Monday evenings 7.30pm
- Tenterden Club (to be confirmed, subject to demand) Tuesday lunchtimes 12.30pm/Monday evenings 6pm
