COVID UPDATE, March 2021. Communal worship has recommenced. We will also continue to offer live and pre-recorded worship. Please wear a mask, use hand sanitiser, sit at a safe distance from other people, and avoid standing together with others as you come in and go out. Prayer During the Day has also restarted at St Mildred’s. The Wednesday and Thursday communion services at St Michael’s and St Mildred’s have a regular new time of 10am.
If you would like to come to either the 9.30am Eucharist, or the 11am Eucharist at St Mildred’s on Easter Day, then please get in touch with Karen Edgar, the Church Administrator, to book a seat by email or phone (do not text) between 10am and 2pm (leaving a message if necessary). Karen will need the following information:

2. The time of the service (9.30am or 11am).

St Mildred's Church in Tenterden dates from the 12th century and is Grade 1 listed. The imposing tower which is 130 feet in height, dominates the town's skyline, and was constructed in 1461. The tower is built of Bethersden Marble, a locally quarried Limestone containing many thousands of brightly coloured shells.
The church is open to visitors every day during daylight hours.
