Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Tenterden 2023
"This year's Poppy Appeal was beset by some very bad weather which meant we were unable to collect on two full days. However, with the support of over 70 local businesses, through the hard work of a merry band of collectors at Waitrose and Tesco in Tenterden. The fabulous Military Vehicles in the High Street and the sterling work of the Tenterden Army Cadet Corps, we have managed to collect the grand total of £27,031. This was a fantastic effort by all concerned and we would like to thank all the generous people who donated to this years Appeal. Their contributions will make a big difference to this much loved cause."
