Moretto’s Sayers Lane, a daytime eatery and coffee shop is now open, Serving coffees, alongside a breakfast and daytime menu with hand-made pastas, sandwiches and salads. With inside and outside seating, as well as takeaway options, Moretto’s will bring a slice of the Continent to Tenterden’s historic and bustling high street.
Gerry Avena, the chef and restaurateur who has operated the street food van Moretto’s Italian BBQ in Tenterden for a couple of years, has created a menu with a modern European bistro feel in mind. The breakfast and brunch menu will include a classic Moretto’s breakfast with locally sourced bacon, sausages and homemade beans on sourdough toast, and a brunch dish of poached egg, avocado and chorizo atop two crumpets, A full range of home-made cakes and pastries will be available throughout the day. The Daytime Menu will focus on Mediterranean salads and sandwiches, including the famous Moretto’s Meatballs on ciabatta, as served on Gerry’s street food van. Completing the Daytime Menu will be artisan pasta dishes using hand-made pastas from the Borough Market based La Tua Pasta.

We welcome well behaved dogs inside Morettos Sayers Lane but there isn't much space inside so perhaps 2-3 dogs only at a time please!
