Weald u3a

Are you retired or semi retired? Are you interested in keeping mind and body active? Would you like to meet like minded people? Weald u3a is part of a national organisation (U3A). No qualifications are awarded and none are required. The purpose of u3a is educational in its widest sense and embraces leisure and social activities. u3a encourages you to take pleasure in learning.
A very friendly and informal group, our interest groups draw on the knowledge and skills from within our own membership. Meetings are usually held in each group leader's home and most take place during the day. As well as a variety of interest groups there are outings and dining out experiences to enjoy.
Our monthly meeting is open to all members and is held in Tenterden. This takes place, usually, on the first Friday of each month between 2.30 - 4.30pm. We normally have a guest speaker, discuss items of general or group interest and over a cup of tea warmly welcome new members and visitors. Do come along, it's a great way to meet people, share interests and make new friends.
