David Swaine says "I started my working life in a drawing office drawing maps so I guess that drawing has been part of my life for some time.
I tend to paint en plein air in the summer and concentrate on studio work in the winter. I like to paint any subject and have done several pictures of private houses and many portraits of all ages. I have also painted dogs, horses and other animals.
I will paint almost any subject from real life or from a photograph. My favourite way to paint a portrait would be if possible to meet the subject then take a series of photographs that are then completed in my studio this works particularly well with children. I love to paint for clients and in order to fund my art I charge according to size and complexity of the subject small portraits start from around £200.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss."
