The Bells Lane Allotments are behind Waitrose, and between the Junior School and Bells Lane along Judges Lane.
The allotments are on land owned by The William Judge Trust. William Judge was a Tenterden resident who left the land to be used for the benefit of the people of Tenterden. They are the only allotments in Tenterden.
The William Judge Trust is a registered charity. Two Trustees are appointed by the Town Council, and Mike Pearson is the Secretary. The Trustees can be contacted via the Town Clerk at Tenterden Town Council at the Town Hall.
If you would like to apply for an allotment please ask for your name to be added to the waiting list which is kept at the Town Hall. The waiting list for allotments used to be several years but now is much shorter.
