Tenterden Housing Needs Survey 2025
Tenterden Town Council, in partnership with the Rural and Community Housing Enabling service (RACE), is carrying out a Housing Needs Survey to understand the current and future housing requirements of local people. The survey aims to identify whether there is a need for affordable housing (rented or low-cost homeownership) and whether older residents may need to downsize or move to more suitable homes, while remaining in the community they know. A paper survey has been delivered to every household, but it can also be completed online at

The deadline for responses is 3rd November 2025, and the findings will help shape future housing provision in Tenterden.
