Tenterden Rotary Club speaker Alan Castle, Tenterden Folk Festival, Thursday 16 June 2016. Although only one member admitted to ever having tried Morris Dancing, everyone was fascinated to learn about the origins and diversity of this traditional activity. Like Rotary, it was at one time a men-only activity but now it is dual gender and continuously evolving. Alan brought with him some traditional instruments; variations on accordions with their own eccentricities and unique sounds.
