St John the Baptist Church Crib Festival 2017
14th – 17th December 2017
After the success of our Summer Flower Festival, we have decided to give everybody in the local community a fresh creative opportunity by filling St John's Church with Christmas Crib Scenes. An occasion for Wittersham clubs, societies , businesses and families to join in the fun regardless of their ability! The cribs on display will range from traditional to homemade ... from pegs to plasticine. Family 'heirlooms' to modern scenes.
Thursday 14th December, 8pm
The event starts with a Christmas extravaganza by Cranbrook Band on Thursday at 8pm , (donation pot in lieu of tickets).
Friday and Saturday 15th-16th December
The festival will then be open for all to enjoy from 10am - 4 pm on Friday and Saturday. "The 3 Kings" talk by Tony Rawlins on Saturday 16th 6.30pm
Sunday 17th December
Festival open 11 am - 4 pm. The weekend ends with our traditional Carol Service on Sunday evening at 7 pm.
As well as the cribs, there will be refreshments available each day at our pop up festival café (Soup and Ploughman's lunch from 12 - 2 pm each day). Produce Stall, Tombola, Christmas Hamper Raffle and other festive delights.
