Description
The second Tuesday of every month 8.00 for 8.30 pm (not August) Free sing-a-round and music sessions : Floor singers, musicians, storytellers, step dancers, etc. always welcome.

A typical folk evening sees between 10-20 folk singers and musicians from Kent and Sussex gathering in the bar from around 8pm and the music starts at about 8.30pm and continues on to 11pm. All folk singers, musicians, storytellers and poets are welcome to come along and join in, or you can just come and listen to the music. The music is mainly traditional English but also includes contemporary, blues, Irish, Scottish, European music, music hall and acapella: in fact most good acoustic music with a smattering of stories and poems.

Venue: The William Caxton.
The Caxton is at the west end of Tenterden High Street and offers a warm welcome and a fine range of Shepherd Neame ales and a good selection of wine. It is a charming, traditional English pub with a log burning fire. At the rear of the pub there is a walled garden which is ideal for the summer months. There are a few car parking spaces at the front of the pub, on street parking nearby and several town centre car parks just a short walk away. The William Caxton have three rooms available for bed and breakfast
