St Michael's Primary School Remembrance Fireworks Display

Join us this Remembrance Day to celebrate the freedom afforded to us by the heroes of WW1 and WW2. Come along and join the 1940s wartime themed fun with entertainment from Lindy Hop dancers and live music from The Ruby Sisters singing all the old favourites The Ruby Sisters are a close harmony quintet specialise in swing, jazz and pop style songs with a vintage vibe.
This years fireworks will blast off to music such as The Dam Busters and other rousing wartime classics. Why not really get in the spirit of the theme and dress up? Get your victory rolls and gas mask ready. BBQ, refreshments, NAAFI tea tent, cakes, glow bits and more. Fabulous raffle prizes. Priscilla the Pimms Pod will be joining us at our fireworks event. She offers a wide range of winter warmers for the grown ups! And some lovely choices for the under 18s too.
Dressing up is optional but it's so much fun! Plus a fantastic prize of a family ticket for the Kent & East Sussex Railway will be awarded to the best dressed family!!
Before the fireworks a silence will be observed in memory of our fallen heroes. Lest we Forget.
