Have an enchanting day out at the Kent & East Sussex Railway in Tenterden with Thomas the Tank Engine™ and some of his favourite friends.
All trains will be hauled by Thomas himself, so hop on and travel behind Thomas as many times as you like between Tenterden and Rolvenden Stations. Meet Rusty and Dusty, Sir Topham’s mischievous comedy sidekicks and enjoy regular Annie & Clarabel rides at Tenterden Station.
There will also be balloon modelling and magic shows and the chance to watch thrilling adventures with Thomas in 'Tales of the Brave' on the station’s big screen TV. Join in with Thomas and Friends station scenarios and have fun at the Imagination Station. Whatever the weather you’ll enjoy face painting and unlimited play time on the roundabout, bouncy castles and under fives soft play area, all of which are under cover. Free goody bag for each child on arrival and ‘A Day Out With Thomas’ certificate to take home.

Dogs, with the exception of assistance dogs are not permitted at this event. Children 18 months to 15 years inclusive £13.50, Adults £18.00, Family Ticket 2 Adults, 2 Children £54, Babes in arms under 18 months are carried free of charge, providing they do not occupy a seat. Arriving by car
FREE car parking is available at Tenterden Town Station. In the event of our car park being full, pay and display car parks are situated nearby. Tenterden is less than an hour by car from the M25. If using the M20 travelling southbound, exit at junction 8 to join the A20 and follow signs for Leeds Castle. Continue on the B2163, through the village of Leeds to join the A274, then follow signs for Tenterden. If travelling northbound, exit at junction 9 and join the A28, then follow signs for Tenterden. Tenterden Station is situated in the heart of the town just off the High Street (A28).
By public transport
Train services from London and the South East connect with bus routes to Tenterden from Headcorn, Ashford, Rye, Hastings and Maidstone. The nearest station to Tenterden is Headcorn, while Ashford International has a more frequent service from London.
Bus services to Tenterden run from Rye, Hastings, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Headcorn and Ashford.
Facilities for the mobility impaired
All our facilities have been carefully designed with mobility impaired and elderly passengers in mind. There are toilets for the mobility impaired at Tenterden Station. In ‘Petros’, our specially designed coach for the mobility impaired, we are able to accommodate a number of wheelchair users on every departure. We suggest you telephone ahead for details. There is full wheelchair access to the shop and refreshment rooms at Tenterden Town. The Tenterden ticket office is fitted with an induction loop.
