Description
The annual CAMRA Real Ale & Cider Festival at Tenterden's Steam Railway. This popular social event is organised by the Ashford, Folkestone and Romney Marsh Branch of CAMRA. Food available on Friday evening and Saturday all day into the evening. Real ale and real trains are a marvellous combination.
 
The event is suitable for all ages and families are welcome. Delicious food will be available from the BBQ on Friday evening and all day and into the evening on Saturday
 
Admission Charges to the Beer Festival

Platform tickets £2. Free entry is available to card carrying CAMRA and K&ESR members (no train service in operation)
Saturday
Festival only: if you wish to attend the festival only, you will need to purchase a platform ticket at £3 (Free entry for card carrying CAMRA and K&ESR members)
Festival and Train Journeys: the railway is running a Gold Service

Friday 16 June 2017, 6pm-11pm
Friday evening for CAMRA members and guests. Free entry to card carrying CAMRA and K&ESR members, no trains running. Quiet session (there are no bands on Friday evening).

Saturday 17 June 2017, 10.30am-11pm
A wide range of activities, some of the finest Ale, Cider and Perry in the exclusive beer tent, live music. Trains are running every 45 minutes, cask ale & cider available on most trains. If you wish to attend the festival only, you will need to purchase a platform ticket £3, free entry is available to card carrying CAMRA and K&ESR members.

Getting to the Festival by Public Transport
There are regular bus links from Ashford, Hastings, Headcorn, Maidstone, Rolvenden, Rye and Tunbridge Wells to Tenterden. Ashford (2 or 2A), Maidstone (12), Tunbridge Wells (297), Hastings (340).

Camping
Limited camping: available but MUST be booked in advance, camper vans and caravans also welcome – to book a pitch phone the railway on 01580 765155.
