We are a self-help organisation providing educational, creative and leisure activities in a friendly environment for people not in full-time employment, for fun, not for qualifications.
We have a monthly meeting with a speaker from September to May and other activities including meetings of interest groups, short courses, outdoor activities and outings to theatre, music events, stately homes and gardens.
Nearly all activities take place during the day
- sharing experience, knowledge, skills & interests
- discovering new horizons
- meeting like-minded people
The vast store of knowledge and experience among older people is a very valuable self-help resource. Members come from a wide area. We are based in Tenterden and St Michaels but draw members from the surrounding towns and villages including Cranbrook, Headcorn, Rolvenden, Bethersden and Biddenden
Monthly Meetings are held in St Mildred’s Church Hall, Church Road, Tenterden from 2.00 to 4.00 every third Thursday.
Coffee at Café Rouge on the 4th Friday each month 10.30am-11.30am
