Tenterden Folk Club meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (not August) at The William Caxton Pub in Tenterden.
A typical folk evening has between 10-20 folk singers and musicians from Kent and Sussex gathering in the bar from around 8pm and the music starts at about 8.30pm and continues on to 11pm. All folk singers, musicians, storytellers and poets are welcome to come along and join in, or you can just come and listen to the music. The music is mainly traditional English but also includes contemporary, blues, Irish, Scottish, European music, music hall and acapella: in fact most good acoustic music with a smattering of stories and poems.
