Team Ben Hammond is dedicated to fundraising in memory of Ben Hammond a local boy who went to Homewood School in Tenterden.

Ben was an inspirational 15 year old whose life was suddenly cut short when he passed away on 4th July 2016 of a Coronary Artery Anomaly. Ben had previously been a fit, strong, determined and fun loving boy. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed cycling, walking, camping, scouting, photography and working on a local farm. The great outdoors was his passion. He was heading for a career in farming which he was dedicated to and passionate about

We are fundraising to raise money for the charity CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) to screen local young people for undiagnosed heart conditions. Our events will include cake sales, quiz nights, golf days, beer festivals and more. Phil and Nick also ran the London Marathon 2017 in memory of Ben, and CRY
