Little Explorers Children's Centre provides information and offers access to services for families with young children aged 0- 5 years in the local community. We offer a range of activities and courses for parents and their children, such as Baby Massage, 1st time Parents Group, behaviour management, Family Club and Sign & Rhyme.
The Centre, Little Explorers Children's Centre, which is part of wider group of Ashford Children's Centres, opened on 8 May 2010 and is located in the building next to Tenterden Infant School. It aims to provide fun, free, local services for families with young children aged 0- 5 years. The centre can also signpost parents to information on topics such as activities for children, childminders/care, adult education, employment opportunities.

- Breastfeeding help
Regular breastfeeding group with peer support. Our volunteer breastfeeding peer supporters are local Mums who have breastfed and gone on to train to support you in your breastfeeding journey. Everyone is welcome to meet and chat with other local Mums who are breastfeeding or want to find out more.
- Baby Massage
Relaxing for the baby and the parent/carer, this 4 week course has many physical and developmental benefits. It also encourages bonding with the baby.
- Family Club
An informal group, with the opportunity to self weigh your baby or by a member of the Health Visiting Team. Plus there is baby sensory play and a messy play activity.
- Sign and Rhyme
A signing and singing group for babies 6 months to 2 years.
- Young Able Parents (YAPs)
Young parents/carers under 20 years of age are welcome to drop in. The group provides support to young parents/carers in a non-judgemental environment.
- Sexual Health Clinic
Drop-in clinic offering non-judgemental advice on contraception, STI's, pregnancy and issues around forming healthy relationships.
